    The Spider

    April 27, 2009 @ 05:22 PM Posted by mmp
After a year of research and waiting out the late season storms, we nail the Spider from the summit. A trophy of a peak located on the southern end of the Gores, this one captures the imagination. Always great to have another one off my back and in the bag.

    Sleeping Giant

    March 19, 2009 @ 12:01 PM Posted by mmp

Derek, Troy and me hit up the big classic lines of Sleeping Giant. A great spring ski and a fun, sustained pitch all the way down. If you have the means, I highly recommend checking out. Big thanks to Derek for making this happen!

    Bend

    March 19, 2009 @ 11:55 AM Posted by mmp

Believe it or not, there are big peaks in the greater Oregon area. This was my trip to the Eastern half of the state and a return on Bend for some big lines in the sun. Enjoy!

    walls (Thinner)- The Movie

    November 24, 2008 @ 05:37 PM Posted by mmp
In 1995, I picked up a camera and the first footage I was able to shoot blew me away. I was in Austria at the time and couldn't believe the expanse of what they, in Europe call a "ski resort'. For the terrain was vast and untamed and lifts took you wherever you wished. Thus, I began to ask the question, could we ever recreate this experience in the States? Could we ever take personal responsibility to the point where we could be left to our own devices? We decided to find out.

Following the epic winter of 08/09 from the 500 inch year in Steamboat, to sled skiing in Bend, to the epic adventures in British Columbia, this film showcases several versions of what a ski area "could be". Filmed in Steamboat, Bend, as well as Kicking Horse and the interior of British Columbia.

DVD's are $20 available through order@michaelmartinproductions.com or click on contact. If you are here in Steamboat, Ski Haus and Surefoot carry a full line of MMP films.
